Laboratory Purpose High Vacuum Pump is oil-immersed, rotary vane type and the rotor, with two spring loaded vanes, is mounted eccentric in the stator body. The Pump has in-built non-return valve which prevents back flow of air and as the rotor, rotates the vanes sweep the crescent shape air space twice in each revolution. The Pump finds application in distillation, dehydration and filtration processes, exhausting electric tubes, GLS lamps, mercury vapour lamps and tubes, vacuum metaiiurgy, vacuum sublimation, vacuum impregnation, thin film coating, refrigerator and air-conditioner servicing, freeze drying of foods. The Pump has drive motor from 0.25 to 20 HP, approx oil filling from 2 to 75 litres. The Laboratory Purpose High Vacuum Pump has stages such as 1 and 2, free air displacement from 1.8 to 353 CFM, ultimate vacuum from 0.005 to 0.05 mm of hg.
